  • JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN

    Job Overview:

    Works solo or leads an installation crew while on a jobsite. Must be a team player with a can-do attitude. Willing to provide 5-Star service and communicate professionally & promptly with the customer at all times.


    Required Experience/Job Duties:

    Installation, repair, and servicing of both residential and commercial electrical equipment according to NEC & local jurisdictional requirements.


    · Expert working knowledge of building codes

    · Ability to lead new construction wiring, rough-in and finish projects

    · Ability to lead remodel wiring projects

    · Ability to determine functional condition of all electrical equipment, can troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and determine the extent of necessary repairs

    ·  Understand how to read blueprints, electrical schematics and unique project specifications.

    · Identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects

    · Ability to surface mount & bend conduit and wall-fish wiring



    Qualifications

    · Provide punctual, respectful communication with the Management Team & other staff members

    · At least 18 years old

    · At least 3 years experience as a Residential Electrician

    · An active US driver’s license

    · Reliable motor transportation

    · Aptitude and proficiency for technology and working with your hands.

    · Enjoy working in the public

    · Highly presentable and polite

  • APPRENTICE ELECTRICIAN

    Responsibilities

    The Apprentice Electrician works installing or maintaining a variety of approved wiring methods for distribution of electrical, low voltage wiring and network connected devices. Assists with everyday assignments from morning roll-out to job site clean-up while learning the developing valuable skill-sets related electricity and smart home automation.


    Qualifications

    General electrical circuit knowledge and wire-fishing.

    Some electrical trade coursework is very helpful.

    Valid Driver's License

    Reliable transportation to travel when necessary

    Willing to submit to pre-employment screening, random and for-cause drug testing

  • SYSTEMS INTEGRATOR 2

    Responsibilities

    The Systems Integrator  2 schedules installations & coordinates delivery of the installation components to the job site in conjunction with the Project Manager or the Business Owner. 


    They monitor installation crews, lend expertise, and troubleshoot. This position requires that strict documentation, code and company standards be adhered to at all times


    Job Description:

    The System Integrator 2 answers to the Project Manager, General Manager or the Business Owner.


    The following is a general outline of tasks and responsibilities:


    Management

    •Responsible for all project work performed, paperwork, and communication.

    •Responsible for ensuring all necessary equipment arrives to the jobsite on the correct day.

    •Responsible for collecting all monies due from the customer if onsite.

    •Schedule & supervise installation crews.

    •Schedule & supervise subcontracted laborers.

    •Maintain ongoing project awareness with all trades.

    •Monitor and maintain all aspects of all customer service.

    •Create and maintain relationships with contractors and subcontractors.


    Installation

    •Maintaining installation quality, wire management and documentation.

    •Establish procedures and standards onsite.

    •Ensure all parties onsite are adhering to local, state and federal code regulations.

    •Perform complex system and device programming.

    •Perform complex smart home & home networking setup, configuration and documentation.

    •Provides detailed customer instruction on all facets of system operation.

    •Perform problem solving and troubleshooting.

    •Ensure cleanliness of the jobsite at all times.

    •Assist in all facets of installation when required.


    Technologies

    • Installation & Integration for the following home technologies.

    o Home Networking

    o Smart Home Devices

    o Telephone / Intercom

    o Audio / Video Components

    o Home Theater

    o Security Cameras

    o Structed Cabling & Wiring Cans


    Areas of Primary Responsibility include:

    o Wall-fishing low voltage cabling, including the installation of wall-plates, wire termination, labeling, organization and documentation of all wires.

    o Mounting all video displays, including, installation of source cabling, safety considerations, proper installation height, tilt and angle of the display. Responsible for network connection, customer setup and strict adherence to all mounting & electrical codes.

    o Installation of home theater, architectural and outdoor speakers, volume controls and keypads.

    o Installation of security cameras, video doorbells, WiFi Access-points, antennas, sensors, modules, keypads, sirens, etc.

    o Mapping, labeling, documentation and wire management of all head-end locations and wiring cans.

    o Basic installation, configuration & wire management of home network systems, including routers, modems, switches

    o Installation of all system/source devices, including input setup, menu/app configuration and documentation of all inputs, IP & MAC addresses.

    o Any other components/devices not defined but required to insure the proper completion of projects

                                                        

    Ongoing Education

    • Continuous education in our industry through a variety of sources including but not limited to the following:

    o Periodicals and Magazines

    o Classes, Seminars, and Trade Shows

    o Online Training

    • Attend seminars and meetings
